# Milo and Cee: A Story of Friendship and Teamwork
Milo was a cheerful dog who loved to run, bark, and play from morning until night. Cee was a clever cat who preferred quiet corners, careful thinking, and peaceful afternoons. At first, the two did not get along at all. Milo thought Cee was too serious, and Cee thought Milo was too noisy.
One windy afternoon, trouble came to town. Outside Mrs. Green’s shop, a strong gust of wind knocked over a basket of apples. Bright red and green apples rolled across the street, under benches, and into little corners all over the square. Mrs. Green looked worried, and the townspeople did not know how to gather them all quickly.
Milo rushed forward at once, full of energy and eager to help. He darted from place to place, chasing down apples before they could roll farther away. But in his excitement, he sometimes bumped them in the wrong direction.
Cee watched carefully and soon joined in. With calm eyes and precise movements, she slipped into tight spaces, reached under carts, and gently nudged apples back toward the basket. Milo’s speed and Cee’s accuracy turned out to be the perfect team.
Together, they recovered every last apple. Mrs. Green thanked them warmly, and the townspeople cheered for their teamwork. Milo realized that Cee’s careful nature was a strength, and Cee saw that Milo’s playful energy could do a lot of good.
By the end of the day, Milo and Cee were no longer just neighbors who tolerated each other. They had become true friends. From then on, they remembered that different strengths can come together to solve problems, and that friendship often begins with cooperation.
